We understand from God’s Word that the parents are the most influential people in a child’s life. Our desire is to assist parents in raising their children to honor God in a fun, clean, safe, and biblically structured environment. Our goal is simple; to help them find a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as to teach them to honor God all the days of their life. We also understand how difficult it is today to raise children in a post-modern world, so we offer a wide variety of parenting classes and resources for every family. Additionally, we provide personal and private care through individual counseling by certified counselors to help parents learn and apply what God desires for successful parenting of their children.

With the wide range of age groups, compounded by the developmental differences of our children, we work hard to see that all of our kids’ spiritual needs are met. Each volunteer is required to have a background check and attend training classes before serving in the Children’s Ministry to ensure our children will have the best and safest ministry experience the church can offer.

In January of 2008 we opened our state of the art “newborn”  nursery.  You will find that this is a very comfortable place for mothers to nurse, change or lay their newborns down for a nap during the morning service. Additionally, we offer hearing assistance so our mothers will not miss out on the activities in the sanctuary. Our toddler nursery is staffed with trained personnel who pay special attention to each child. We provide Pagers to each mother for a quick and effective method of contacting parents. Also, we provide a security method that assures our children stay safe while in our facilities.

Our preschoolers are taking some of their first steps through the bible while their parents are in the service. Our preschool teachers take their time to teach the stories of the Bible to our children in a fun way they can understand and appreciate.

We have a Children’s Church service for ages five to eleven that many say is “world class” known as 85 Z street!  Zechariah 8:5 says, “The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.”  We want our church filled with boys and girls playing AND learning the Word of God.  Here children age Kindergarten through 5th grade gather for a time of learning that is specialized for them.  With the help of our “Big City Studio” cast, they are introduced to a new Bible verse and Bible story every week using live actors, wacky games and becoming part of the “scene” during the lesson.  Every Sunday your child will leave knowing how “REAL” God is!  We send them off with homework that reinforces the lesson and Bible reading that is rewarded when completed.
